In another social change, Flagler, Louie, and Tanner have become a trio for the time being and have been spotted putting Louie safely in the middle as they swim together.
Tanner and Flagler enjoy having the lagoon with the best “view” of the causeway, they love to wave good morning and good night to all of their trainers and love to “people watch” as guests walk by throughout the day.

Tanner’s 2025 Resolution: To continue to further DRC’s research program and possibly pursue my PhD.
Tanner enjoyed spending time with a visiting trainer from Japan. They were having fun being creative together! The trainer would set out all of the toy options and ask Tanner which one he would like to play with. He got excited every time and kept changing which toy he wanted.
When asked for a present both boys brought back a rock. Flagler brought a little one and Tanner brought a bigger one. After they came back, Flagler decided he needed to go get a bigger one than Tanner’s. So it was a good old “my rock is bigger than your rock” competition.
Tanner loves a mental challenge as he learns new training. He recently started learning his basketball dance where he will hold a basketball in between his pectoral flippers, sit up, and spin around.
Flagler and Tanner are excellent at creating their own games.When a seagull landed on their dock the boys began spitting water at him and enjoyed watching him move around to not be splashed.
Talon and Tanner had the best time with some of our Dolphin Lab students. They had the chance to do a signal session with them, and since these students had been here for a full week, it surprised both of the boys when they realized how creative and different the students could be with the signals.
